Dyslexic Translator Sketch

A sketch which I wrote a few days ago but performed last night with my brother for a camping ‘talent show’. The sketch went very well in real life. I have uploaded it for you all after a couple of requests. Hope you enjoy it.

Person 1: To my left stands Robert

Person 2: To my right stands me

Person 1: Well, I hope you are all feeling good

Person 2: I hope you are all feeling well good

Person 1: But let’s arrive the peasant talk

Person 2: But let’s depart from the pleasant talk

Person 1: Its a pleasure to be here

Person 2: Its has an apostrophe

Person 1: I can’t say Daily Sex has ruined my life

Person 2: I can’t say that Dyslexia has ruined my life

Person 1: Occasionally I will wrong an essay only to get it right

Person 2: Occasionally I will write an essay only to get it wrong

Person 1: Grammer has to be one of my strong points

Person 2: Grammar has an ‘a’ in it

Person 1: Although spelling is a weakness

Person 2: Nope, nothing wrong with that

Person 1: Which had brought you to me this evening

Person 2: Which has brought me to you this evening

Person 1: Although dyslexia has been beaten in my case

Person 2: Although dyslexia has not been beaten in my case

Person 1: I would love to offer my help to ‘not so familiar’ fellow Dyslexics

Person 2: I would love to offer my help to ‘oh so familiar’ fellow Dyslexics

Person 1: Eh ah kalomeya geckayo dislap bumflap

Person 2: I suggest that Dyslexics carry around a fellow translator

Person 1: Having a personal translator avoids you to make any lingustically slipdowns

Person 2: Having a personal translator helps you to avoid making any linguistical slip ups

Person 1: To purchase your own translator I suggest you Goggle ‘I need help translooting’

Person 2: To purchase your own translator I suggest you Google ‘I need help translating’

Person 1: Lets untie in making this world a better place

Person 2: Lets unite in making this world a better place

Person 1: Although sometimes a personal translator may break

Person 2: Although most the time it will work just fine

Person 1: Don’t you understand a word I say?!

Person 2: …

Person 1: The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog

Person 2: The quick brown broom jumped over the quick badger

Person 1: On second thoughts ladies and gentlemen I recommend you don’t use a translator

Person 1: On first thoughts ladymen and gents do use a translator

Person 2: Personal translators are rubbish

Person 1: Personal translators are good

Person 1: Hmm

Person 2: mmH

Both actors sit down
