Each morning I listen to the Transport For London (TFL) platform announcements and think to myself ‘I could do that job’. In fact, the desire to be the voice of TFL is so great that it has made itself onto my “list of things to do before I die”. I accidentally challenged my past radio companion, Ian Pinnell, to a voice over duel this evening. It seems he also dreams of becoming the TFL voice.... 

Over the last few days I have received phone calls from various radio stations asking for my opinions on a range of subjects. Mostly associated with social media but also in relation to recent news items. Since being involved with radio I have felt that the airways will always be somewhat associated with me. I enjoy providing commentary and opinion. I understand the trade of Journalism is a busy one... 

There is no doubt in my mind that in order to gain a good grasp of the Public Relations industry it is necessary to understand at least the basic lessons involved in Journalism. After all, Public Relations is a form of Journalism – one where it is required to understand how the collation of news is gathered and broadcasted. Several times this year I have been placed in a Journalist’s role where... 

I fear it may take at least another night’s sleep before my body is in fully working order again. Although what a good time I have had at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival. Being a part of a very large team for Jazz Town 87.7FM will be one of the moments I look fondly upon for many years to come. My main role for Jazz Town FM was to present. Over the course of the weekend I managed to total around 9 hours... 

The UK’s biggest and most popular Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, official begins tomorrow evening and will run until the 3rd May. Jazz Town 87.7FM is the event’s official radio station and will cover exclusive interviews with acts, up-to-date news from the festival and reviews. We all know him as my faithful radio companion on Not Wireless Radio, the voice-over artist from the shire, the radio production student from @uniofglos and now he is dipping his toes into the water of charitable work. On the 28th March @ianpinnell will be abseiling 100ft down the Women’s Centre at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. In doing so Ian will be raising money for the Silver Star Society. The...
